Go over the letters in the last lesson. This week we introduce two more constants . This

one is Ch as in CHurch ..... and the next one s as in Snake ... so for example this word reads as

....sn (sun)

and this one is .chr (to graze)......

Next lets look at a vowel.
A vertical line .AFTER a letter makes a long aa sound so m...... becomes

...or Maa (mother).

see if you can read this word.... Yes its Maamaa -mother's brother.

Notice the last lettet is the T sound. The spelling is strictly not correct as the s should be a half sound but we will deal with that later.
