The first line of the Gujarati Alphabet has the guttural sounds i.e. those produced from the back of the throat

Using these and the other letters learned before hand see if you can read the following sentences

The next line of the alphabet has the letters Ch , Chh , J , Jh and N.

They are called the palatals because they are produced by strinking the tongue against the hard palate at the top.
